Material identity can be confusing. Why be concrete? Don’t know what it is, but know what it could be. How do we relate to foreign objects? If the object does not account for any absolute purpose, then what is it?

The physical identity of my project is a ceramic object covered with a glassy, light yellow surface. It has two holes. The ceramic is brittle and hard. The glassy surface is easy to dry. You could say that it is practical.
