Jewellery + Corpus

Jewellery is a medium; like canvas for a painter. Jewellery makers express themselves as highly individual. The jewellery art at the Ädellab and Metal Design department has in the last five years, become internationally known. Past students are presenting their work all over the world at galleries and museums. The once isolated position of Sweden is completely gone due to the interaction with Europe and the United States. Nowadays, Sweden is a leading jewellery force; we are more advanced than a lot of other well known jewellery countries.

It looks as though the underdog position has changed into an avant-garde where Swedish jewellers will conquer the world.
