In my degree project I analyze the everyday environment and related objects. During the theoretical part of the work I have focused on various fields of knowledge that deal with and question our perception of reality. By using everyday objects I am striving to create the feeling of a shift in reality.
The actual process is an important part of my work. I fill things in and convert things. Create minor assertions and carry out minor investigations. Using various sketch aids I seek communication between parts or objects in space. This can be expressed in extension and reduction, shapes that meet, lines that belong together and shadows that do not exist.
This is not my fantasies – it is research. Research into the way things are not.
