The design process in practice and as an educational model.
The investigation looks at how the design process is used in the context of the development of products and as an educational method in schools. It is carried out through an analysis of the processes and discourses that I myself used in the design for a series of funerary urns. The goal is to gain a deeper insight into my own creative work in relation to the various stages of a design process.
The investigation of the design process as an educational model has its starting point in the design process as defined in educational literature and by institutions such as Svensk Form and SVID. The goal is to gain a greater insight and understanding of the design process as a method for teaching and learning in schools. The work has two parts, an essay and the production of a series of urns.
