Thérèse Kristiansson is an artist based in Stockholm. She is a graduate in Architecture from the Royal Technical Institute in Stockholm and participant in the feminist architecture theory research lab FATALE, KTH. As an artist she has realized several public art projects including Stockholm Green Map, and currently is engaged in the feminist art duo Die Bösen Mösen and The New Beauty Council (NBC).

The New Beauty Council investigates how concepts of the public are constituted and how beauty and ugliness can be (re-)defined. Using the idea of the carnivalesque as a research method, NBC engages with organizations and institutions, which shape and interpret cities through public conversations and staged situations.

Recent projects are Changed Perspectives c/o Stockholm City Museum – four talks about living in and making use of Stockholm, curated and performed by Annika Enqvist and Thérèse Kristiansson, and an urban intervention.
