For me a room or an item of furniture means an opportunity.
I want to work on issues concerning social and cultural architecture. How can I create rooms that arouse people’s curiosity and involvement in the world about them? I want to experiment with the concept of space, with the aim of reinforcing people’s identity and culture. It is the people living in these rooms whom I wish to assume responsibility for and above all affect!
I want to experience creation’s paradoxical circle and seek to unify internal and external space by producing a place under the sky where architecture is accessible, ongoing and changing. The geometrical Girih pattern inspires me. Girih means knot: tying together and unifying. Untying and releasing.
